Project Management
Project Management Intro
This project required me to be constantly on top of what I needed to do and when I needed to do it. Due to unforseen circumstances it didn't perfectly follow this patter however ultimately I feel it went pretty well.
File Management
For me the first and most important thing which I needed to do was create a filing system which would allow me to find any work which I needed as well as any places I needed to put it. I did this by creating a simple filing system where I named each file in relation to a grading criteria component from the brief. This allowed me to easily locate any work I was working on or had done in the past, making it the perfect start to my project management.
Padlet
For the first four weeks of the project I decided that it would be best to layout my work on Padlet for me to get an idea of where I was at in regards to pre production.  Please find below screenshots of my Padlet and a link to it below.

Collaboration Meetings
During this time me and Joe decided it would be best to hold weekly meetings to track progress of where we were at each week and to give any feedback required. This was incredibly useful even past when Joe had finished all the boards for me as I found it useful to just have general discussions about each others work as it allowed me to get an idea of where I was at as sometimes for me it is easier to get things out while talking to realise my progress instead of writing it down. Please find a screenshot of mine and Joe's initial discussion about the meetings.
Checklist Creation
As I left pre production I found it important to keep track of what I had left to do instead of simply writing it down as I go. And honestly I found this really useful, despite it being a very simple thing it allowed me to help keep track of where I was at, just like the meetings with Joe. Please find the checklist below.
Shot List
I thought it would be necessary to create a shot list to take with me when I began to film on set. This is because I wanted to ensure that I got everything I needed without having the need to come back and shoot again later. Ultimately I did need to reshoot, however it wasn't due to missing any shots, making the shot list a success. Please find my shot list below.
Shot List Redo
As I needed to reshoot all of my shots I decided to do another shot list. Notice that the list is much smaller this time aorund. That is because in hindsight to my previous shots I realised that I would be able to do each shot in 1 take and edit it afterwards. Making the process much more efficient. Please find the remade shot list below.
Not Everything Went To Plan...
Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances with a family matter I wasn't able to follow or make my plan perfectly. However to ensure I could do it the best I could I decided to make a schedule of where to allocate my time to ensure that I could deal with the family matter, as well as do my two jobs and university work. This led me to be able to really knuckle down on my work and help me focus while dealing with so much at once. Leading me to ultimately finish my work on time! Please find my weekly schedule below.
It may seem like all work no play, however I didn't always follow it perfectly. Sometimes I was tired, sometimes I needed to dedicate more time to the family matter or uni etc. But ultimately it helped me keep on top of my work and honestly my life too, so I am glad that I made it.
